We control many things in our homes with the help of smart devices. We use smart devices to turn off house lights and fans, and to listen to favorite music. These smart devices are equipped with machine learning features such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and AR (Augmented Reality). Now these devices with machine learning feature can also replace government employees. According to a Reuters report, Indonesian President Joko Videodo has asked to replace robots equipped with the same artificial intelligence in lieu of a government employee.
Joko said that robots equipped with artificial intelligence are needed to eliminate the red tape in government. The President of Indonesia said that these steps need to be taken to end the red tape of top 4 level government employees and increase investment in the country. He urged the government employees to eliminate two of the top 4 positions next year. It is suggested to use robots with artificial intelligence in place of employees at these two positions. Indonesian President Joko Videodo told the top government officials that they are going to change the government structure during their new term.
If this proposal of the Indonesian President is approved by the Parliament, then robots equipped with Artificial Intelligence can replace the accountants, data entry officers of many government departments. In the past several years, robots equipped with artificial intelligence are being tested for such jobs. Robots with artificial intelligence are capable of doing this type of job. It is believed that these robots can now be used for all types of financial jobs.
