AstraZeneca, on the adverse effects of the Coronavirus vaccine Covishield. The Madras High Court has issued a notice to the Central Government,

According to The Hindu, the Madras High Court issued the notices after a writ petition was filed to restrain the vaccine after its symptoms showed wrong in the volunteer who took the convicted Covishield vaccine during the clinical trial.

This notice has been issued to the Director-General of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Drugs Controller General of India,

ICMR and response have been sought by 26 March.

Justice Abdul Quddus has also issued notices to Serum Institute of India,

AstraZeneca UK, and Ethics Committee Chairman of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research.

A business consultant named Asif Riaz has filed this petition and has also asked for compensation of five crore rupees. He argues that after taking the vaccine,

the opposite effect was found in him, after which he has suffered economic and health damage.
