Tech giant CEO Sundar Pichai has warned users. Sundar Pichai has said that if he logs on any website, there is a risk of his password being stolen. He has tweeted about this. In the tweet, he stated that a protection feature has been released for Google Chrome. The company says that under this new feature, if users visit a website affected by malware, then they will be given real-time alerts from the browser.

He further wrote, “We will alert you when visiting malware-affected websites and increase phishing protection for real-time on the desktop.” Let us tell you that phishing is a social engineering attack that is commonly used to steal users’ data. This data includes user’s login credentials and credit card number etc.

Google has also added a latest blog called Better password protections in Chrome. It states that Google introduced this technology as a password checkup extension for the first time. In October it became part of checking the password in your Google account. With this you can scan the password anytime. It was introduced to browse as well as warn in Chrome. Google has claimed that more than 4 billion users are warned every day that they are visiting websites affected by malware.
