Did you know? The leadership attributes should be inculcated amongst children at a very tender age. This scientific temper plays a very crucial role in re-defining the thought process amongst children. It is critical to be said.

National NGO researches on an experiment-based study that enhances the teaching of scientific temper among girls through a mentoring programme.

The main goal of this mentoring session is to develop a concept that understands with limited resources that is available to these tiny tots. With our advanced technology and skills, we try to incorporate and engage in reflective teaching pedagogy and connect science with daily life.

In this organisation, all the children are treated equally and each one gets an equal opportunity to ask their doubts without any hesitation and satisfy their curiosity through think-pair-share methods for a duration with their respective mentors.

Be it teaching via various experimental techniques on various topics like air, water, simple machines, magnetism, and force etc. are also a vital part of mentoring.

We are a group of dreamers with a collective vision who likes to work for the differently-abled and underprivileged of our community.

National Organisation for Social Empowerment (NOFSE) is a registered National NGO. It provides a learning platform for girls, differently-abled children and old women.

All the underprivileged strata of society learn to perform these simple experiments with the help of our mentors. Gradually, these little girls also start to get exposure to Science and Mathematics and conduct many experiments to make their knowledge in respective better.

The real experience that they gain through experiments becomes a new exposure – a new learning experience for them. Our focus at National NGO remains on conceptual understanding in a local context and its application.

The mentors at the organisation focus upon the latest educational patterns and what is more on ‘How to Learn’ rather than ‘What to Learn’. The little youngsters perform various activities with the help of available resources which helps them in gradually developing the understanding of the subject.

We even use the medium of story and art for developing an interest in children. That’s the creativity what gets admired by these tiny tots and they learn quickly. Hands-on science activities provide girls with the opportunity to engage multiple senses at one time.

They draw and write what they see, think, feel, and touch. Based on these experiences, girls compose stories and poems related to various subjects. E.g. crafting a new story and poems on magnetism, force etc.

These poems and stories develop their creative expression, explorative nature and allow them to express and discuss mandatory issues and those that extend beyond the classroom into their lives, communities, and the world.

Girls’ curiosity and their instinct to inquire, explore and discover gets further encouragement and support from the mentoring programme which manifests in the improvement of their self-confidence and enhance their analytical skills.

Girls are now able to create working and non-working models for district-level Science and Mathematics fair and are confident enough to explain these to the community and visitors.
