Lookout Notice Issued Against Manish Sisodia Or Not, CBI Told

CBI Raids On Manish Sisodia

News agency PTI quoted CBI officials as saying that lookout notices have been issued against eight people included in the FIR, which does not include Manish Sisodia.

On Sunday, Manish Sisodia himself had attacked PM Modi by tweeting. He wrote, “All your raids have failed, nothing found, Ek paisa ki hara pheri nahi militi, now you have issued a look out notice that Manish Sisodia is not being found. What is this nautanki Modi ji? I am openly in Delhi. I’m wandering, tell me where to come? You can’t find me?” 15 people, including Manish Sisodia, have been named in the FIR registered by the CBI for alleged irregularities in the excise policy of Delhi.

However, according to CBI officials, lookout notices have not been issued against the four government employees, including Sisodia, named in the FIR. Apart from Sisodia, the other three are ex-excise officers. The CBI says that so far the agency has not felt the need to issue lookout circulars against government employees, as the chances of leaving the country without all these are negligible.
