Under the World Health Organization’s Kovacs plan, 56 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will reach Pakistan by the end of March.
The Drug Regulatory Institute of Pakistan has approved the emergency use of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine and the Chinese company Cansino Biologics is conducting the final clinical trial.
Is India also involved in this?
India has supplied millions of vaccine doses to its South Asian partner countries, but has not given the vaccine to Pakistan.
Some people have dismissed this as ignoring Pakistan from India, but India says that they have no information about the demand for corona vaccine from Pakistan.
If this is true then there is no surprise in this.
The decades of tension between the two countries over Kashmir had led to the appearance of close military war in the year 2019.

Pakistan has decided to give $ 3 million to this fund after going back and forth for weeks on launching the Kovid-19 fund for South Asian countries through India.
