Janasena and BJP are also on the fray. The two parties are competing jointly as an alliance is forged. The Visakhapatnam steel plant issue has become a BJP curse. The allied Janasena is also rallying against the steel plant. But the state BJP is not in a position to do anything that is not central. With this, the party seemed to be tied to its forelegs. However although it was initially rumored that Janasena would be promoted .. he did not come for the campaign. With this, the Janasena activists shouldered the responsibility of victory.
