Mitochondria give cells energy to function. But whenever there is more stress in humans or mice, this activity is disturbed. These results were published in the journal PLOS Genetics.

Some of the stressors in life such as divorce, unemployment, separation of love or war, etc., are the main factors causing panic attacks and anxiety.

It does not happen to every human being that there is tension in his life and he gets this disorder, although scientists are trying to find out their factors that some people have more effect and some people are unaffected.

In one experiment, he gave mice a stress and several changes were observed in the mitochondria in their brain cells. After this, blood samples of panic disorder patients taken after panic disorder also had different mitochondria pathway. This showed that changes in cellular energy metabolism are a similar method of stress response in animals and humans.
