Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan who is currently filming Thugs OfHindostan has got interested in the biopic on T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar. The Dangal superstar is considering co-producing the biopic, titled Mogul that is if the writer and director of the film, Subhash Kapoor agrees to make some changes to the scriptAamir-Khan

According to a source Aamir wants the film to focus more on Gulshan Kumar’s ‘underdog story’ with least possible references to the underworld. According to a source “The screenplay is currently being tweaked to make it more about Gulshan’s rise from being a fruit juice vendor to the owner of the biggest music label in the country. Aamir is a big believer in underdog stories,”

The source added “Aamir wanted the underworld details to be reduced. The alleged role of the underworld in Gulshan’s death will be eliminated. The film will just touch upon these topics”.

Subhash Kapoor declined to comment on the latest development saying, “I am under an NDA with T-Series.”

It was superstar Akshay Kumar who was initially signed to play the role of Gulshan Kumar in Mogul but due to creative differencesAkshay opted out of the film and returned the signing amount.

Tulsi Kumar (daughter of Gulshan Kumar) had said that Akshay was the “perfect” choice for the role, Before Akshay had quit.

As per reports, the filmmakers are still looking for an actor to play the role of Gulshan Kumar.

Aamir is known to select offbeat and interesting stories and convert them into film. He is also planning to make Mahabharata. Aamir is keen on the Gulshan Kumar Biopic but doesn’t want to make enemies with anybody. This is the reason why he is very clear that the film should not make any references to the underworld.

Gulshan Kumar was shot dead in Mumbai by the underworld and his death was shrouded with controversy. Aamir wants avoid controversy and just make a motivational clean film.
