According to the FIR lodged with the Bangalore Police, Zomato’s delivery executive Kamaraj filed his counter complaint in which he alleged that makeup artist Hitesha Chandrani abused him and threw slippers at him.

Earlier, Hitesha had alleged that Zomato executive Kamaraj assaulted him after delivery of an order was delayed a few days ago.

Hitesha said that when he asked Kamaraj whether Zomato Customer Care had informed him about the order cancellation, he started to misbehave.

Hitesha alleges that when he tried to close the door, Kamaraj snatched the order from him and went away. When he told Kamaraj that he could not do this,

he allegedly punched his nose, due to which blood started coming out of his nose.

However, on the other hand,

Kamaraj has complained to the police that when he apologized for the delay in delivery due to the under construction road,

Hitesha started talking in vulgar language and asked him to take back the food and when he attacked her While trying,

his nose got hurt from his own ring.

After Hitesha’s complaint, the police arrested Kamaraj. However, he was later released.

Hitesha also posted a post on social media in this connection which became quite viral but when Kamaraj’s story came out on social media, he also got a lot of support.

Bengaluru Police’s Additional Commissioner S Murugan told,

“We are investigating the matter and I have told my officers to strictly follow the legal process.”

Following Hitesha’s complaint, the police had registered a case against Kamaraj under sections 504 (willful dishonor)

and section 325 (intentionally causing bodily harm) of the IPC.

Following Kamraj’s complaint, the police now registered a case under Section 341 (wrongful restraint), Section 355 (assault, use of force),

Section 504 (willful libel) and Section 506 (Intimidation) of IPC on Hitesha. Have done.

Zomato has also given his response in this case,

saying that he will bear the cost of treatment of Hitesha and will also provide legal help till Kamaraj is proved guilty.

Zomato founder Deepender Goyal issued a statement saying,

“As long as the police investigation continues, under the protocol,

we have temporarily suspended Kamaraj but we are compensating him for his earnings. We are legal in this case.” Are also incurring expenses. ”

Goyal pointed out that “Kamaraj has delivered five thousand deliveries so far and has a 4.75 / 5 star rating on Zomato’s platform. This is one of the highest ranking. He has been working with us for 26 months.” This is the fact, not the idea or conclusion. “
