In October, Channi was accused of sending inappropriate messages to Woman IAS officer. The issue was’resolved’ to the delight of the woman officer according to reports. The officer had claimed that Channi has sent numerous messages to which she protested, but he continued to send messages. When one of the messages was sent late at night she decided to protest and take the matter to court. It turned out that he had delivered the Urdu message to the female police officer “in error” that she was unable to accept. However, he apologized later for the same.
