4G download speed

Reliance Jio has once again won the average 4G download speed data published by TRAI for July. The average download speed of Jio was 21.0Mbps in July, which was 17.6Mbps in June. In the first 7 months of this year, Reliance Jio 4G has topped the download speed. Even in 2018, Reliance Jio was the fastest 4G operator in terms of speed. Jio had the highest 4G average download speed in all 12 months of 2018.

According to data published by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Bharti Airtel’s performance in July dropped to 8.8Mbps from 9.2Mbps in June. Although Vodafone and Idea Cellular have merged their businesses and are now operating as Vodafone Idea, TRAI shows the two figures separately. The average 4G download speed of the Vodafone network also declined. It dropped to 7.7 Mbps in July as compared to 7.9Mbps in June. The idea reported a slight improvement in July. Now its 4G download speed has increased to 6.6 Mbps. Vodafone topped the average 4G upload speed chart with 5.8Mbps in July.

Idea and Airtel measured average upload speeds of 5.3Mbps and 3.2Mbps respectively in July. Both recorded a slight drop in average 4G upload speed. Whereas Jio saw improvement with an average upload speed of 4.3Mbps. The average speed is calculated by TRAI based on real-time data collected with the help of MySpeed ​​App.
