Kia Motors to raise curtains this week with 7-seater version

India, 7-seater vehicles are in trend nowadays, keeping in mind that automakers are also launching new versions of their current models. Currently, Hyundai’s 7-seater Alcazar of the Creta did not end with curiosity that the discussion of the 7-seater version of the Kia Sonnet has caught on. There are reports that Kia Motors will introduce the three-row i.e. 7-seater Sonat SUV later this week.

The South Korean automaker will introduce the 7-seater Kia Sonnet SUV on April 8, according to new media reports. However, the company has not yet officially confirmed this. But note, Sonet’s 7-seater will be offered in Indonesia. Interestingly, this car will be made in India only. The 5-seater sonet is also manufactured at Kia Motors India facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.

Talking about the change, let us tell you, this new model will be given a third row compared to the 5 seater model. If reports are to be believed then there will be no significant change in the dimensions of the 7 seater sonnet. That is, 7 seater or three row will be prepared in the current size. Let me tell you, the model to be sold in Indonesia is much larger in size than the Indian spec. It is believed that this three-row Kia Sonnet SUV will be offered with only one new engine option. Which will be similar to the engine option of the Indonesia-spec 5 seater model.

Talking about the Indian spec model, Kia has increased the sonnet prices by up to Rs 20,000. The car is sold in six variants HTE, HTK, HTK +, HTX, HTX + and GTX + ranging in price from Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 13.19 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, it is too early to say anything about launching in India. But if it is launched in India, then its price will be much higher than the current model.
