Twenty-Four students score perfect 100 in JEE Main, JEE Advanced cutoff also released The results of the second session of JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Main, the examination related to admission in engineering, were released on Monday. With this, the waiting wait of the students for admission is also over. NTA has announced combined results of both the sessions. In this, a total of 24 students have secured 100% i.e. perfect 100 score. These include 14 students from the first session of JEE Main. Ten students scored in the second session.
Among the students who secured 100 NTA scores are five each from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, four from Rajasthan, two from Uttar Pradesh, one each from Bihar and Jharkhand. NTA released the cut off of JEE Advanced. The cut off for the general category has increased from last year. The cut off for other categories has decreased as compared to last year. According to the NTA, the cut-off for JEE Advanced has been prepared on the basis of performance in both the sessions of JEE Main. A total of 9.05 lakh students appeared in both the session’s examinations.

About 4.04 lakh students appeared in the this examinations . 7.69 lakh students had appeared in the first session examination and 5.40 lakh students appeared in second session. Of these, about 17 cities were from abroad.
First session of JEE Main was conducted between June 24 to 30. Its result came on July 11. The second session exam was held from July 25 to 30. Registration for JEE Advanced begins, exam will be held on August 28 As soon as the JEE Main result is out, the process of registration for advance has started. Students can register between August 8 and 11 and last date for fees submission will be August 12. Admit cards for the examination will be issued from 23 august. This time IIT Bombay has been given the authority of conducting JEE Advanced. According to the notification, this exam will be held on August 28.
