On Wednesday, the delegation was told about the specialties of Panchayati Raj in the Magam area of Budgam district, with the help of this, how to overcome the difficulties of the people.

In Magam, the members of the delegation met some of the local people besides meeting the representatives of DDC.

After this, these people turned to Srinagar. These people met Junaid Mato, the Mayor of Srinagar and during this time also met the Panchayati representatives along with the administrative officials.

Shops were closed at many places during the foreign delegation’s visit to Srinagar and Budgam.

On Thursday, the team will leave for Jammu

Where there is a program to meet the representatives of DDC besides Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha.

Along with this, senior officials of security will also give information to the delegation regarding the situation and security-related matters in Jammu and Kashmir.

This is the third time since 5 August 2019

When foreign ambassadors have been brought to Jammu. On 5 August 2019, the Government of India removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir,

ending the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and divided Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir into two separate union territories.

After the removal of 370, curfews and restrictions were imposed in Kashmir for a long time and communication services were also stopped.

Thousands of people were arrested during this period. Three former Chief Ministers were also included in the detained people and leaders.

Political parties of Kashmir have given their reactions to the visit of the foreign delegation.
