History of International Ozone Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer
United Nations General Assembly was announced to celebrate this International Ozone Layer Protection Day to protect our beautiful earth from the sun’s rays. First time ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by French physicists Fabry Charles and Henri Busson. Ozone is nothing but a layer of gas that protects the earth from the harmful sun’s rays. The Montreal Protocol, drafted in 1987, was signed. Since then the celebration of International ozone day has started.
