Twitter got the huge amount number of requests for account information from the Indian government. The data is 25 percent of such requests in world in last year between July to December and United States is on second position global of 22% information requests. Twitter reported that the company got 14,561 requests for 51,584 accounts from June to December 2020, and alone from India 3,615 requests for 7,762 accounts It is 38% hike from January to June 2020 in asking. According to a Report India is in top 5 countries in the world who is pushing legal demands for taking down content. Twitter also reported that India is on second position after Japan on requesting for removal of contet.
