The Municipal Corporation has issued notification to recruit for Chandigarh Municipal Corporation 172 recruitment. Anyone can apply for this from 8th April. Online application will have to be done on the website of the Municipal Corporation. The last date to apply by May 5 has been set. Written test will be taken after application. Of the 172 candidates to be admitted, 68 are in the category of general category. Punjab University will process the recruitment of employees. After a long time, there will be recruitment of permanent employees in the Municipal Corporation. There are 41 clerk posts in these 172 employees.

There are 81 fireman positions. While the rest includes the posts of Sub Inspector and SDO for JE, Draftman, Junior Draftman, Encroachment Hatao Squad. It is known that at this time the Municipal Corporation is also temporarily prohibiting the keeping of employees from the company. PU will conduct exams for these 172 posts. Approval has been received from the local body secretary of administration to fill these posts.
There is a severe shortage of staff in many departments at this time. In this regard, it has been said on behalf of the Municipal Corporation that filling the vacant posts through recruitment will give impetus to the works of the Municipal Corporation.
