According to experts, due to lack of funds, the builders here are doing the work at a slow pace, the money will come to them and the project will be completed soon. Only those who complete more than 60% of the work will get the benefit. There are about 40 projects in the district that fulfill these conditions of the relief package. Also, the builder who will survive the stain of being a defaulter, will get the benefit of this tonic of the Finance Minister. The Finance Minister has announced a relief fund of Rs 20 thousand crore.
According to the Noida Authority’s record, the speed of these projects may increase , leaving about 12-14 thousand buyers, who are awaiting possession. Of these, about 8-10 thousand buyers can benefit from such funds. In Greater Noida Authority, the number of such buyers is believed to be around 30-35 thousand. About 5 thousand buyers in the Yamuna Authority will also benefit from this. There are 4 such logistics projects in Noida, in which around 4000 buyers will benefit from this. Around 1200 buyers of Earthcon Group will get relief. About 800 buyers of the concept Horizar can get flat early. Amit Modi, associated with builders’ institution CREDAI, says that this is not a complete cure for the problem.
