New Delhi People know speed because of their songs and rap. He is currently one of the finest rappers in the industry. He has told how he reached this journey. Gati has told how he quit his salesman job. How music became his passion after this job. Gati said that his father gave him complete leeway to follow career and music.

Gati spoke to Neha Dupia about her career on her show ‘No Flitter’. Gati told in the show, ‘Karan was already there. I tell you very clearly. In 2006, I worked as a salesman at UCB. But my father had done something on that job, because of which I said – he just gave up. I will have to fight now. ‘

Gati further said, ‘My salary was Rs 10,000. My father’s salary was 12,000 rupees. He took out Rs 10,000 from it and kept it under my pillow. Said that there is no need to leave, this is your salary. On that day, it was decided that now they have given exemption in front. I could not give SQs that I could not because my parents did not support. My parents used to say, try your luck. If nothing happens, I will open a shop, I will not die of hunger. ‘

Gati told how he started writing. He said, ‘I was in 7th, had started writing since then. I don’t know when I started writing rap key. Maybe it wasn’t rap, a nice rhyme. There came a time, when I started writing songs. When Class was in 9th, the era of MP3s came. My friend gave me a CD that had Eminem and Linkin Park’s Songs. It featured a remix of the band Queen. The song also had a small rap. I thought it was great. It was something I used to do in Rhyme. It was like I used to think, why do you just love love again and again. This is something with which I was able to connect myself, just the beginning.
