Farmers of Punjab and Haryana are scheduled to protest in the capital today and tomorrow in protest against the Central Agrarian Reform laws. In view of this, security has been tightened on the Delhi-Haryana border. Drones are also being used.

Farmers of Punjab and Haryana are scheduled to protest in the capital today and tomorrow in protest against the central agrarian reform laws. It is believed that thousands of farmers will perform in Delhi today under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Union. In view of this, security has been tightened on the Delhi-Haryana border near Faridabad and Singhu village. Forces have been deployed from at least two police stations in addition to three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) battalions on the Delhi-Faridabad border. Police is also using drones to monitor the situation.

Sub-Inspector Prithviraj Meena told news agency ANI on Thursday that we are checking every vehicle passing through here. Home Guard personnel are stationed here. Senior officials are circling. We are ready to deal with any situation. No farmers have come here yet. If the farmers come here, we will try to negotiate with them. Barricading has been done at four to five places along the Delhi-Faridabad border. Meanwhile, Delhi Metro will not go to Delhi Mentron NCR till 2 pm on Thursday.

Policemen are stationed at Faridabad-Delhi border in view of farmers ‘Delhi Chalo’ protest. Faridabad Police said that their team is deployed on every border. He has received instructions from the government and the department not to allow farmers to enter Delhi on 26-27 November.
