The depth of this earthquake in Ambikapur was 10 km. Earlier, several tremors of earthquake were felt in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Earthquake tremors were felt in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur on Monday.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred at 79 km WNW from Ambikapur at 8:10 am in the morning. Its depth was 10 km. The length of this earthquake was 82.44. This information was given on Twitter by NCS National Center for Seismology.

After the earthquake shocks, Electricity was disrupted in many areas of Sukma as per the sources. No damage to property and casualties has been reported so far. Earthquake in the area is a rare occurrence as per the locals. These areas do not currently have any records regarding the earthquake , according to the Meteorological department .
