Coronavirus update Expect relief from pandemic

Coronavirus update Expect relief from pandemic There is some relief news for the countrymen facing the havoc of the Corona infection. According to the country’s renowned virologist and medical scientist Gagandeep Kang, cases of infection will start to decline from the middle of this month to the end. Corona infection is at its peak right now. For the second time this month, more than four lakh cases have been reported and nearly four thousand people have also died. The rise in infection is that in a week itself, more than 2.5 million cases have increased.

According to Gagandeep Kang, there may be one or two more waves of corona infection right now, that may increase in new cases, but the situation will not be as bad as the current one. He said that at this time the corona infection is rapidly engulfing the areas which were left earlier. Infection is spreading rapidly in middle class and rural areas. However, it is unlikely to continue its spread in these areas for long.

Actual number of patients far more

Kang also expressed concern over the dwindling investigation of the corona virus while addressing a webinar. He said that the number of infection cases that are coming up in the investigation will be much higher than this in reality.

Anticipating yet another wave of corona virus, he also said that nothing can be said about when it will happen. He said that we do not know much about the corona virus nor do we know what form it will take. So we have to be vigilant.

Corona will become like bad flu virus

When asked about the possibility of Corona virus, he said that it will become like a bad flu virus. He said it would become a seasonal virus, as would a bad flu virus. People become immune against it due to repeated infection and vaccination. He also said that the corona virus is changing form repeatedly and may outperform the immune system. To avoid this, we need booster doses. However, he is sure that due to the difficulties we are facing right now, we will not have to face such troubles due to this virus.

Active cases more than 3.5 million

Right now the country is facing the second wave of corona virus. New cases are increasing rapidly in this. In the last one week itself, more than 27 lakh infected have increased and more than 25 thousand people have died. The number of active cases has increased to 35.66 lakh, which is 16.92 percent of the total infected. During the last 24 hours, a record 4,12,262 new cases have been found and 3,980 people have lost their lives. Due to this epidemic, neither many new cases were found in this one day nor did so many people die. The total infectious population has crossed 21 million. Of these, 1.72 crore people have been completely infection free and 2,30,168 people have lost their lives.

19.23 lakh test on Wednesday

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 19,23,131 samples were tested across the country on Wednesday to detect corona infection. Together, more than 29 crore 67 lakh 75 thousand samples have been tested so far.
