The special CBI court has called Ishrat Jahan a terrorist. During this time, the court has acquitted all the three accused. While acquitting, the court said that where Ishrat Jahan was a terrorist of Lashkar it cannot be denied.
Ahmedabad: The CBI special court has given a big decision in Ishrat Jahan encounter case. In the encounter case, the court acquitted the three Crime Branch officers Tarun Barot, Anju Chaudhary and Girish Singhal from all charges. While acquitting the three officers, the court has said that Ishrat Jahan was a terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The court said that the intelligence report cannot be denied which is why the three officers are acquitted.

While acquitting, the court said that Crime Branch officials GL Singhal, Tarun Barot and Anaj Chaudhary took action on the basis of inputs received from the IB. These officers did what they should have done.
Explain that Ishrat Jahan and his three associates Javed Sheikh, Amjad Ali and Zeeshan Johar were killed in an encounter by the Crime Branch in June 2004. After this encounter, former Gujarat Director General of Police PP Pandey, former IPS and Crime Branch head DG Banjara and Deputy Chairman of Police NK Amin were also accused. The court has already acquitted all three.
